Heb 11:1 AMP- NOW FAITH is the assurance (the confirmation, the title deed) of the things [we] hope for, being the proof of things [we] do not see and the conviction of their reality [faith perceiving as real fact what is not revealed to the senses].
Gen 11:1-kjv And the whole earth was of one language, and of one speech.2 And it came to pass, as they journeyed from the east, that they found a plain in the land of Shinar; and they dwelt there.3 And they said one to another, Go to, let us make brick, and burn them throughly. And they had brick for stone, and slime had they for morter.4 And they said, Go to, let us build us a city and a tower, whose top may reach unto heaven; and let us make us a name, lest we be scattered abroad upon the face of the whole earth.5 And the LORD came down to see the city and the tower, which the children of men builded.6 And the LORD said, Behold, the people is one, and they have all one language; and this they begin to do: and now nothing will be restrained from them, which they have imagined to do.7 Go to, let us go down, and there confound their language, that they may not understand one another's speech.
Mark 4:23-amp If any man has ears to hear, let him be listening and let him perceive and comprehend. 24 And He said to them, Be careful what you are hearing. The measure [of thought and study] you give [to the truth you hear] will be the measure [of virtue and knowledge] that comes back to you — and more [besides] will be given to you who hear.

AMP: 24 And let us consider and give attentive, continuous care to watching over one another, studying how we may stir up (stimulate and incite) to love and helpful deeds and noble activities, 25 Not forsaking or neglecting to assemble together [as believers], as is the habit of some people, but admonishing (warning, urging, and encouraging) one another, and all the more faithfully as you see the day approaching. The report they gave was not “evil” because of what they saw-It was “evil” because what they saw “UNBELIVED” what GOD had told them and what God had shown them. Heb 3:16-niv 16 Who were they who heard and rebelled? Were they not all those Moses led out of Egypt? 17 And with whom was he angry for forty years? Was it not with those who sinned, whose bodies fell in the desert? 18 And to whom did God swear that they would never enter his rest if not to those who disobeyed? 19 So we see that they were not able to enter, because of their unbelief. 4 Therefore, since the promise of entering his rest still stands, let us be careful that none of you be found to have fallen short of it. 2 For we also have had the gospel preached to us, just as they did; but the message they heard was of no value to them, because those who heard did not combine it with faith. 3 Now we who have believed enter that rest, just as God has said,"So I declared on oath in my anger, 'They shall never enter my rest.'" And yet his work has been finished since the creation of the world.
- Don’t saturate your eyes/senses with what the world is showing you
- Taking what seems to be the path of least resistance is not God’s best.
- NEVER give up entering into what God has promised you

- Biblical context of this word is Shaloam…a flourishing that encompases every facet of life and even the community and nation because of the covenant connection
- HE WILL FLOURISH!
- Flourish (HEB) = To flower, blossom, break forth, spread out; enter into a state of prosperity
- To increase in wealth, favor and honor
- To grow vigorously and exuberantly, enlarge and expand
- To become extremely successful

Col 3:15 AMP And let the peace (soul harmony which comes) from Christ rule (act as umpire continually) (arbitrate, govern, prevail) * in your hearts [deciding and settling with finality all questions that arise in your minds, in that peaceful state] to which as [members of Christ's] one body you were also called [to live]. And be thankful (appreciative), [giving praise to God always]. Rom 14:19 Let us therefore follow (pursue) after the things which make for peace, and things wherewith one may edify another. 2 Peter 1:2- AMP May grace (God's favor) and peace (which is perfect well-being, all necessary good, all spiritual prosperity, and freedom from fears and agitating passions and moral conflicts) be multiplied to you in [the full, personal, precise, and correct] knowledge of God and of Jesus our Lord. 3 For His divine power has bestowed upon us all things that [are requisite and suited] to life and godliness, through the [full, personal] knowledge of Him Who called us by and to His own glory and excellence (virtue).
