5/28/23 – Let Him Help – Susan Allen
LET HIM HELP 5/28/23 susan allen   Ps 43:5 AMP Why are you cast down (sink, or depress), O my inner self? And why should you moan over me and be disquieted (loud, troubled) within me? Hope in God and wait expectantly for Him, for I shall yet praise Him, Who is the help of my [sad] countenance (face), and my God.   ADDRESS IT—Ignoring/denial is not faith, but neither is focusing on the problem. What is NORMAL? What is the level/ the measuring device to know something is “OFF” in your mental well-being? 1 Cor 10:4 niv No temptation has seized you except what is common to man. And God is faithful; he will not let you be tempted beyond what you can bear. But when you are tempted, he will also provide a way out so that you can stand up under it. THERE IS NOTHING that can come to you that GOD has not provided a way to STAND THROUGH   HOPE IN GOD- our circumstances were never supposed to be our hope for peace, rest, or the hope of our mental well-being. We don’t live off of happiness we live in joy. Heb 6:19 niv We have this hope as an anchor for the soul, firm and secure.   PRAISE- Ps 103:1 kjv Bless (praise, say something good about)  the Lord, O my soul: and all that is within me, bless his holy name.2 Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits:3 Who forgiveth all thine iniquities; who healeth all thy diseases;4 Who redeemeth thy life from destruction; who crowneth thee with lovingkindness and tender mercies;5 Who satisfieth thy mouth with good things; so that thy youth is renewed like the eagle's.6 The Lord executeth righteousness and judgment for all that are oppressed.     Parenting in Grace and Faith Happy Mother’s Day 5/14/23 YOU MIGHT HAVE MADE SOME MISTAKES RAISING YOUR KIDS JUST AS Eph 2:8 tells us that by HIS GRACE we are saved (delivered) through faith, WE PARENT by His Grace and are delivered through faith   We cannot afford to let our “parenting regrets” override HIS GRACE in our minds , or we WILL NOT be able to operate in FAITH concerning our children His grace is greater than our mistakes Accept His Grace and let HIM put His INFLUENCE INTO the situation Do not underestimate the power of GOD’S GRACE in your parenting STORY PRAY over your situation, YOUR CHILDREN….NOT IN FEAR, not our of regret BUT IN FAITH THE PRAYER of FAITH is the way we take our FEARS off of our children and place THEM in the hands of God            FEAR based parenting is not beneficial to our kids            REGRET based parenting is not beneficial to our kids FEAR is transferrable by WORDS, but so is FAITH Romans 10:17 Faith comes by hearing.   BEGIN to SEED the WORD. You do not water the Word with worry or negative words, you water it with praise and you rest in faith expecting a harvest/change Do not let fear in during the process of time     Ps 37:25-NIV I was young and now I am old, yet I have never seen the righteous forsaken or their children begging bread. 26 They are always generous and lend freely; their children will be blessed.   Ps 103:17 NIV But from everlasting to everlasting the Lord's love is with those who fear him, and his righteousness with their children's children —   Ps 112:1-NIV Blessed is the man who fears the Lord, who finds great delight in his commands.2 His children will be mighty in the land; the generation of the upright will be blessed.   Ps 115:13-NIV  he will bless those who fear the Lord — small and great alike. 14 May the Lord make you increase, both you and your children. 15 May you be blessed by the Lord,the Maker of heaven and earth.   Ps 113:9 He maketh the barren woman to keep house, and to be a joyful mother of children. They hunger and thirst after righteousness. They seek you and find you. They love you with their whole heart, mind and soul. Anything that tries to come between you is removed from their lives. I have taught them of you and your ways and they will never depart from it. My children bring me joy and not sorrow. They rise up and call me blessed. I have lent them to you for your service- they have found their place in you. You have placed Godly friendships and relationships in their life-they desire none else. Your Holy Spirit resides on the inside of them, working constantly on their behalf-showing them things, warning them and leading them in the path of righteousness. Satan cannot in anyway have my children-they have been yours since the day of conception-they will never serve another. I have taught them of you therefore they have great peace. You have created in them a clean heart-set apart for your service. I will not fear. I will not be moved by what I see. I put my trust in you. I rest now in your Words to me concerning my children and I consider it done from this day forward-I will not pick up this care again-But I will praise you for what you are doing in their lives and what they are doing for you. The end result is what you have promised.

    HOMEGROWN 5/7/23 RCC FAMILY DAY  Deut 6:5 NKJV (page 211   see the green 6  then small numbers in the sentences find little number 5)  5 You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, and with all your strength. 6 "And these words which I command you today shall be in your heart. 7 You shall teach them diligently (intensely, pierce) to your children, and shall talk of them when you sit in your house, when you walk by the way, when you lie down, and when you rise up. 8 You shall bind them as a sign on your hand, and they shall be as frontlets between your eyes. 9 You shall write them on the doorposts of your house and on your gates. Sow the Word into your family by what they see,  what they hear, what is said, and all along the “way” in their actions and your actions in daily life. A good godly life does not come from outside things…the best is HOMEGROWN You ARE growing something at home and the fruit will show you if you need to sow differently. NEVER UNDERESTIMATE the POWER OF your HOME ENVIRONMENT THIS takes time and effort. MAKE time. The harvest is worth it. Eph 5:15,16 speaks of not being foolish but making the MOST of EVERY OPPORTUNITY because the days are evil/hurtful/fierce  (page 1399 look for the small numbers 15,16) IF we want a good life…there are seeds we should pick to sow Not literally in the grown, but in the choices that we make When we mess up and plant (do) the wrong thing we dig that seed up by asking for forgiveness and by forgiving each other A peaceful, good, and godly home doesn’t just happen…It’s homegrown. We need to start sowing for it today and giving it our time and attention.  Gal 6:7 Do not be deceived, God is not mocked; for whatever a man sows, that he will also reap. (page 1391 look for the small number 7)

He comes out to defy Israel. The king will give great wealth to the man who kills him. He will also give him his daughter in marriage and will exempt his father's family from taxes in Israel." 26 David asked the men standing near him, "What will be done for the man who kills this Philistine and removes this disgrace from Israel? Who is this uncircumcised Philistine that he should defy the armies of the living God?" 27 They repeated to him what they had been saying and told him, "This is what will be done for the man who kills him." 28 When Eliab, David's oldest brother, heard him speaking with the men, he burned with anger at him and asked, "Why have you come down here? Gal 3:27-kjv  For as many of you as have been baptized into Christ have put on Christ.28 There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise.

    Covenant is a Strong Word part 3 3/5/23 susan allen Part 1: beautiful meaning and strength of “covenant” Part 2: even to the death! The example of God/Abraham Today: Being covenant minded…it makes a difference   1 Sam 17:2 NIV 2 Saul and the Israelites assembled and camped in the Valley of Elah and drew up their battle line to meet the Philistines. 3 The Philistines occupied one hill and the Israelites another, with the valley between them. 4 A champion named Goliath, who was from Gath, came out of the Philistine camp. He was over nine feet tall. 5 He had a bronze helmet on his head and wore a coat of scale armor of bronze weighing five thousand shekels;  6 on his legs he wore bronze greaves, and a bronze javelin was slung on his back. 7 His spear shaft was like a weaver's rod, and its iron point weighed six hundred shekels. His shield bearer went ahead of him. 8 Goliath stood and shouted to the ranks of Israel, "Why do you come out and line up for battle? Am I not a Philistine, and are you not the servants of Saul? Choose a man and have him come down to me. 9 If he is able to fight and kill me, we will become your subjects; but if I overcome him and kill him, you will become our subjects and serve us." 10 Then the Philistine said, "This day I defy the ranks of Israel! Give me a man and let us fight each other." 11 On hearing the Philistine's words, Saul and all the Israelites were dismayed and terrified. Verse: 16 For forty days the Philistine came forward every morning and evening and took his stand. (kjv presented himself)17 Now Jesse said to his son David, "Take this ephah of roasted grain and these ten loaves of bread for your brothers and hurry to their camp. 18 Take along these ten cheeses to the commander of their unit. See how your brothers are and bring back some assurance from them. 19 They are with Saul and all the men of Israel in the Valley of Elah, fighting against the Philistines." 20 Early in the morning David left the flock with a shepherd, loaded up and set out, as Jesse had directed. He reached the camp as the army was going out to its battle positions, shouting the war cry. 21 Israel and the Philistines were drawing up their lines facing each other. 22 David left his things with the keeper of supplies, ran to the battle lines and greeted his brothers. 23 As he was talking with them, Goliath, the Philistine champion from Gath, stepped out from his lines and shouted his usual defiance, and David heard it. 24 When the Israelites saw the man, they all ran from him in great fear. 25 Now the Israelites had been saying, "Do you see how this man keeps coming out? Saul said to David, "Go, and the Lord be with you." Today I will give the carcasses of the Philistine army to the birds of the air and the beasts of the earth, and the whole world will know that there is a God in Israel. 47 All those gathered here will know that it is not by sword or spear that the Lord saves; for the battle is the Lord's, and he will give all of you into our hands." 48 As the Philistine moved closer to attack him, David ran quickly toward the battle line to meet him. 49 Reaching into his bag and taking out a stone, he slung it and struck the Philistine on the forehead. The stone sank into his forehead, and he fell facedown on the ground. 50 So David triumphed over the Philistine with a sling and a stone; without a sword in his hand he struck down the Philistine and killed him. 51 David ran and stood over him. He took hold of the Philistine's sword and drew it from the scabbard. After he killed him, he cut off his head with the sword. When the Philistines saw that their hero was dead, they turned and ran. 52 Then the men of Israel and Judah surged forward with a shout and pursued the Philistines to the entrance of Gath and to the gates of Ekron. WE cannot afford to base our fight on any other grounds IS THIS in my covenant with God? Is this coming to try and defy GOD?  Until you run at it covenant minded, it will continue to taunt you. Jonathan in covenant with David (chp 18) 1 Sam 20:42 NKJV Then Jonathan said to David, "Go in peace, since we have both sworn in the name of the Lord, saying, 'May the Lord be between you and me, and between your descendants and my descendants, forever.'" So he arose and departed, and Jonathan went into the city. Eventually Saul and his sons are killed, including Jonathan (chp 31) 2 Sam 9 NIV 1 David asked, "Is there anyone still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show kindness for Jonathan's sake?" 2 Now there was a servant of Saul's household named Ziba. They called him to appear before David, and the king said to him, "Are you Ziba?""Your servant," he replied. 3 The king asked, "Is there no one still left of the house of Saul to whom I can show God's kindness?"Ziba answered the king, "There is still a son of Jonathan; he is crippled in both feet." 4 "Where is he?" the king asked.Ziba answered, "He is at the house of Makir son of Ammiel in Lo Debar." 5 So King David had him brought from Lo Debar, from the house of Makir son of Ammiel. 6 When Mephibosheth son of Jonathan, the son of Saul, came to David, he bowed down to pay him honor.David said, "Mephibosheth!"    "Your servant," he replied. 7 "Don't be afraid," David said to him, "for I will surely show you kindness for the sake of your father Jonathan.
