Rom 1:16-KJV  For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power  (dunamis- force, miraculous power) of God unto salvation (soteria- rescue, safety, deliverance, preservation) to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.17 For therein is the righteousness of God revealed from faith to faith: as it is written, The just shall live by faith.

Live- dzah’o: NT:2198 Thayer’s: to enjoy real life, i. e. to have true life and worthy of the name — active, blessed, endless in the kingdom of God

We really have two options:

  1. Live by the flesh: according to the 5 physical senses/soul –which is constantly changing according how we feel, what we perceive, and the circumstances
  2. Live by Faith: according to what is stated by God- which never changes but forces change in the circumstances

2 Cor 5:7 NIV   We live by faith, not by sight.

Wuest: Through Faith we are ordering our manner of life, not by something seen

-WHAT IS ORDERING my LIFE?-

Your mouth is a revealer of what is IN YOU

Matt 12:34-NIV For out of the overflow of the heart the mouth speaks. 35 The good man brings good things out of the good stored up in him, and the evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in him.

Rom 10:8 KJV  … The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach

There is a mouth to heart connection.

YOU are changing your mind.(romans 12 renewing)

2 Cor 4:18 kjv  While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen: for the things which are seen are temporal; but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Rom 4:17-21-speaking of Abraham:  (As it is written, I have made thee a father of many nations,) before him whom he believed, even God, who quickeneth the dead, and calleth those things which be not as though they were.18 Who against hope believed in hope, that he might become the father of many nations; according to that which was spoken, So shall thy seed be.19 And being not weak in faith, he considered not his own body now dead, when he was about an hundred years old, neither yet the deadness of Sara’s womb:20 He staggered not at the promise of God through unbelief; but was strong in faith, giving glory to God;21 And being fully persuaded that, what he had promised, he was able also to perform.

Gen 15:1-kjv After these things the word of the LORD came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, Abram: I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward.2 And Abram said, Lord GOD, what wilt thou give me, seeing I go childless, and the steward of my house is this Eliezer of Damascus?3 And Abram said, Behold, to me thou hast given no seed: and, lo, one born in my house is mine heir.4 And, behold, the word of the LORD came unto him, saying, This shall not be thine heir; but he that shall come forth out of thine own bowels shall be thine heir.5 And he brought him forth abroad, and said, Look now toward heaven, and tell the stars, if thou be able to number them: and he said unto him, So shall thy seed be.
